Last Gasp: CLOSED

Jon (who took the above photograph) muses:

I always thought this place was toxic to everyone except the tourists!

Given that Mrs. Kim’s was shut down recently as well it makes me wonder if the Health Department is specifically targeting north Brooklyn eateries nowadays. In any case, if you want to see something really scary check out Sea’s recent inspection by the Department of Health. They got a whopping 53 points* for harboring creatures which quite frankly I didn’t know existed. Until today, that is. Whoa.

  2. 53 points is nothing. Vox Pop got an astonishing 160+ once.

  4. Perhaps the DOH is not well informed as to Sea’s exclusive use of natural locally grown seasonings which are essential to their exotic sounding gourmet cuisine served primarily to tourists and NYU students trying to impress a date.

  6. 161 points. That *IS* impressive. I am surprised the Red Cross wasn’t brought in— or an exorcist.
