It would appear that the holiday hustle is catching up with Hayes (of Williamsburg’s very own Spoonbill & Sugartown Booksellers). Nonetheless he is making valiant attempt to stay awake lest someone gets a case of sticky fingers paws or decides to offer him the odd a head rub. It’s a tough job being a shop cat!

  2. I love Spoonbills and I love their shopcats! I have an old phone cam pic somewhere of the chubby tabby all squooshed into one of the hard wooden children’s chairs, legs hanging out. It was so funny and adorable!

  4. This cat looks exactly like my cat! I even seem to detect an extra paw if I am not mistaken, making this guy a Hemingway as well. Either way, every shop in williamsburg/greenpoint deserves/should adopt a cat.
