Feel Good Comment of the Week
Some of you might recall that I found the above album at the local Salvation Army a couple months ago. My buddy Noel was gracious enough to burn it onto compact disc and I uploaded it for all to enjoy. Well, yesterday I received a comment from Ray Budzilek’s very own daughter:
THANK YOU! WHAT A TREAT TO COME ACROSS THIS WEBSITE WITH MY DAD’S MUSIC! IT IS SUCH A TRIBUTE TO HIS MUSIC THAT 25 YEARS AFTER HE LEFT THIS EARTH HIS MUSIC CAN STILL MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY!
It does and I hope it continues to do so. Celebrate the holiday season by blaring some blue chip polka my fellow Greenpointers!

also wasn’t polka the ground zero of “world music” as far as industry recognition goes? First ethnic music category est. by the grammies!!!

HelenRae Budzilek refered me to this site to check out this album. She knew I had been searching for albums by her father, Ray Budzilek. I am very happy to see it here and will refer others. Thank you for sharing with all of us the works of the greatest polka artist!
Hi! I am the Daughter-in-law of Jackie Stulak on the “Strumpet”. We are looking at this and laughing our A**es off. Thanks for the tribute to the Greatest trumpet player to ever reside in Brecksville Ohio! And your site is histerical! Keep it up!
