I love the random crap you see around the East Village. My favorite is the Global Warming ads that say “do nothing” or “fight global warming”. Of course people spray paint big “X”s next to the “do nothing” option! New Yorkers are such dicks, ha! Check out SoUrban.net for more East Village goodies.
Speaking as someone who spent most of her life in “Asshole Central” (READ: Texas) I find New Yorkers to be an affable lot.
you know, my first thought was that they meant jack in the box the restaurant. because, honestly, i’ve always been a little afraid of those. it’s because of that e coli death thing, of course, and the fact that i had, up until that point, never heard of a jack in the box restaurant. so that’s my only association.
but now i think maybe they meant actual jack in the boxes, which i guess could be scary too. especially if they look like demon clowns.
