North Brooklyn Street Art Du Jour: Naughty Bits
Bedford Avenue
North 7th Street
Shortly after I took the above photograph a worker at this site (which is located on Kent Street) asked me if this was supposed to be a flower. I saw no good reason why I should disavow him of this notion.

Great Moments In Williamsburg Real Estate Perks: 234 Skillman Crapfest
Filed under: Williamsburg
The anonymous tipster who forwarded me this copy editor’s worst nightmare writes:
Imagine my excitement when I learned of new additions to the building at 234 Skillman Ave, courtesy of Active Development LLC! Â Not only are we getting a screening room, but a rec room! Â Including a Poo Table! Â woohoo! Â I hear those things are expensive…
Sheeeeit where I live we don’t have fancy pants places to put our poo— much less for “no fee”. In the Garden Spot of The Universe the humble sidewalks have to suffice. West Street appears to be the most popular.

Yes kids, that’s a bigass portrait of Bernie Madoff being rolled down Franklin Street. The man behind the Madoff (and the dolley) is none other than Paul Richard. At last we met! He was a very nice guy— if a bit coy.* He told me this portrait was purchased by a collector on the Upper East Side. Is this true? I’ll leave that up to you, dear readers, to decide.

*It should be noted that he seemed very happy to know the shit-laden manties on West Street were holding up.

TOMORROW: Adoptable Cuties At PS 9
By all reports it looks like it is going to be a beautiful weekend here in north Brooklyn. After (or perhaps before) indulging in some beer and goulash goodness in Greenpoint why not make a detour to PS9 Pet Supply and make the acquaintance of some of the lovely felines of Empty Cages Collective— like sweet little lass in the following video. Her name is Jo Jo, she is six months old and purrrfectly healthy. She would very much like to have a “forever home” to hang her hat. How about yours?

Ashley writes (in an email entitled “From the corner of Driggs and Leonard”):
Couldn’t resist sending you this one… have you seen it?
I must confess that no, I have not in fact seen this. However, it does remind me of something I saw recently on Keap Street.
WORD. WEIRD.
