A fellow named Max writes:
Hello Miss Heather,
Hope you’re safe and all that. Wanted to share a Greenpoint Sandy photo. I am fortunate enough to live on Dupont St. and have a great skyline view. Here’s what I just shared on my instagram/facebook:A bright rainbow appears in front of the NYC Skyline after Sandy’s worst. I love my view, I LOVE THIS TOWN #nyc #sandy #greenpoint #rainbowconnection
Hope you like it and share it… Stay safe and warm and all that crap!
Outstanding shot, Max— thank you so much for passing it along!
LAST GASP: Greenpoint Rainbow

As spotted this evening on Greenpoint Avenue. For those of you who are not familiar with Garden Spot geography, the pot of gold at the end of this here rainbow appears to be none other than the Newtown Creek Waste Water Treatment Facility (AKA: the Shit Tits).

This item comes courtesy of a lass named Holly. She writes:
Hey – I am a recent arrival to Greenpoint and your blog has been a great help in understanding my environs. Thought I’d send you a few pre and post-storm pics if you wanted to use them.
Thanks for the kind words— and lovely shots!
Miss Heather
