Happy New Year From New York Shitty!
As is usually the case, I indulged in an informal New York Shitty New Year’s tradition. This of course is going to bed early New Year’s Eve so as to get up, go out and review the aftermath of north Brooklyn’s “festivities”. As you see, I was not disappointed. What initially caught my interest (naturally) was the artful array of bottle caps and solitary dinosaur on the fender. When I noticed the automobile had two, um, “inhabitants” well this had to be documented for posterity. At least they elected not to drive. Hence why I elected to blur out the license plates, registration, etc. I suspect the hangovers, sore backs and (probably) dead car battery are “punishment” enough for last night’s “merrymaking”/transgressions.
I will be uploading photos of my findings (there is vomit, discarded clothing— socks mostly, for some reason— hypodermic needles and even a partially incinerated box spring) in a bit— so check back!
New York Shitty Day Ender: Java Street Park
This morning it was brought to my attention that someone has seen fit to “add value” to my tar bucket installation. Intrigued, I decided to swing by and see it for myself. Follows are a few highlights from my visit. Enjoy!
People were present.
As were a great many a duck– and of course the reason for my trip.
A sparkling new addition to Tar Bucket #2!
A reviewer on CellarTracker.com opines of this product:
A little nail polish on the nose, with just the slightest hint of citrus. It’s a bit tight. A little more expressive on the palate, but still pretty tight. It has the nail polish and citrus, plus a little yeast at the end.
Just like Greenpoint! Nonetheless I sensed something was missing. So I whipped out my sidewalk chalk.
See you next year!
Happy New Year From New York Shitty!
When I awakened this morning I discovered so much good stuff in my photo pool I could not resist sharing a slew of them today. This comely trio of lasses comes courtesy of Chris Arnade and hails from Jackson Heights!
