This lovely lass is named Sadie. I learned from her “person” (who was keeping a careful watch over her) she is rescue with a lot of trust “issues”. Miss Sadie may be skittish, but thanks to a lot of TLC she is learning— albeit slowly— to trust people. After her person assured her the Mister and I were okay she nuzzled up against us and received copious head rubs. She’s a sweetie.
Few things in life give me the joy that comes from seeing a lovely (and loving) furkid getting a new lease leash on life at the behest of a compassionate and very patient fellow homo sapiens.

Speaking as someone who prefers used over new (my lifestyle makes second-hand desirable— what’s more it’s much easier on the wallet!) I feel compelled to pass along this item. Our local Salvation Army is extending their regular “Family Day” to Wednesday and Thursday this week. This is an excellent chance to pick up some apparel on the cheap to wear “as is” or retool into something neat. Check it out!

Okay, I’ll admit these above imagery does not do this vehicle justice (try taking photos from a moving bus— it is not as easy as you may think). The OCD manifest here is compelling nonetheless. Note they Holstein print seat covers, fuzzy dice, assortment of beanie babies (black and white all) and the maneki neko. NICE.
