With the weather being as dreary as it is I was delighted to get a reminder from a reader named Ruth that this upcoming Saturday, May 15, is Kite Day at McCarren Park! Those of you who have yet to check this out really should— it’s a lot of fun. What’s more, it is for good cause; it’s a fundraiser for P.S. 132!

Williamspoint Video Du Jour: The Hungry March Band
As promised here is a a little footage of the Hungry March Band strutting their stuff at yesterday’s Kite Fest. Playing on the baseball diamond proved to be too hot to handle (because it was— SWELTERING— I can attest to this personally) so they decided to take their show on the road. Enjoy!
