Southside Street Seating Du Jour: Tete a Tete
This is not “street seating” per se but it merits attention nonetheless.
For starters, this al fresco arrangement has a rather nice view of the Williamsburg Bridge.
Secondly, it’s easily accessible via the collapsed (but nicely painted) construction fence!

Southside Photos Du Jour: Presenting The Eggman
When I happened upon this very special super hero and his anthropomorphic ovum sidekick on Broadway I knew I had to pass along the glory here on New York Shitty. Not only has this dynamic duo replaced Hongo Killer as yours trulys favorite corporate spokes… um… things but it also gives me an excuse to give props to the original Eggman!
Oooh, Eggman!

P.S.: You can (and should) view the Eggman comic gracing the sides of these boxes in larger format by clicking here.
New York Shitty Day Starter: Smile!
Yesterday I commented to my husband that some incredibly talented people have joined my photo pool of late. He agreed. In fact, I’m finding it very difficult to choose among all the great images I am seeing! For this reason I am going with this image from carnade to kick off the day. Why, you ask? Because who can resist smiling back at this beautiful face? Love it!

From The New York Shitty Photo Pool: Big Nick’s
Adding a dash of geographic diversity to today’s offerings I submit for your approval this nifty shot of Big Nick’s Burger by kalel koven. Lovely capture!

Crosstown Local Photo Du Jour: Spellbound
Filed under: 11206, 11211, Crosstown Local, Subway, Williamsburg, Williamsburg Brooklyn
This moment of excellence has been brought to you courtesy of the Queens-bound platform of the G train at Broadway. Given that the Metropolitan Transit Authority cannot master simple bookkeeping, I suppose it should come as no surprise they cannot spell either.*

*To clarify/reiterate; this tile work is new. Or is it? Apparently this is a source of considerable debate. Richard writes:
Forgotten-NY.com claims this has been there since 1937: But there’s some debate about it:

Apparently the MTA made a makeshift taped-on correction that has disappeared.
Only the best for the Crosstown Local.
