I am not completely fluent in Feline, but I suspect what Daisy is saying here is she wants her window back!

Reader Comment Du Jour: Has Larry Been Catnapped— Again?
I have heard rumors that Larry, our beloved bodega cat, has gone M.I.A. Sadly, it would appear this is in fact the case. His former “person”, Neer, writes:

If you have seen Larry or know of his whereabouts please contact his “people” at New A.J. Farms Market STAT. They— and I— are very worried about him.

Urban Fur: New Arrival At The 99 Cent Store
Filed under: 11222, Crazy Cat Lady, Greenpoint, Greenpoint Brooklyn, Greenpoint Magic, Urban Fur
This weekend the Mister and I found a most unusual item in front of this yours trulys favorite 99 Cent Store.
This little lass. Concerned, I brought her inside the store and asked if she happened to be under their employ. The look on the cashier’s face said it all: a most definite yes. After explaining I found her outside, I inquired as to what this, Greenpoint’s newest shop cat, name was. Her answer was as follows:
Philip.
You realize this cat is a female?
I replied. To wit the cashier told me she was quite aware of this and explained she had initially given this cat a Chinese name— but a customer pointed out that folks hereabouts would have trouble pronouncing it. This person, in turn, said this cat’s name should be Philip— and it stuck.
You need to get more with the times.
A customer, an older gentleman, chimed in.
“You’re right”, I replied, “it is the 21st century after all”.
Oh yeah, my name is Mary.
He added. So there have you.

A Greenpoint Blind Item

It is a well known fact that Larry (as seen at left) is without argument Greenpoint’s most famous the bodega cat. He likes to get around. While this usually entails keeping a particularly vigilant eye (or would that be paw?) over the canines which patronize his place of work and play (that being A. J. Farms) he has a horde of furry friends. In fact, if you look carefully on the left hand side of the counter at this establishment you will see a photo of him hanging out with a few of his homies. But did you know a particularly fetching feline hereabouts has become his regular breakfast date? I didn’t. It was put to me this way:
He comes in every morning, eats some of her food and sits with her. They cannot “do” anything*… but they like each other!

Doug (who took the above photograph) writes:
saw this today at 312 Bedford Av.
there was a bodega there called Espinal Deli, sitting between Videology and Dumont Burger and they closed this week. They had the rent doubled I heard. Who knows, but the close was sudden to me as a regular customer.
Anyone interested in providing the lovely Miss Lily a home should contact missthangny at the above-listed telephone number or email address. Thanks!

Urban Fur: Sun Hee Farm
I’ve been trying to capture this kitty for some time.
But as you can see this lass is more interested in patrolling her domain than looking pretty for the camera.
And of course there’s the matter of getting head scratches.
However…
after hissing at a bipedal passerby…
she seemed much more amenable.
