It would appear that not only has yours truly’s favorite illegal conversion in an Industrial Business Zone seen fit to invest in stick-on letters and numbers…
but they have spruced up the foyer as well! Because, as we all know, nothing exudes “class”— even in illegally converted manufacturing buildings with a standing Stop Work Order and thousands of dollars in unpaid fines— quite like the addition of some potted plants. I mean just look at the difference they make here:

Some interesting urban artifacts are manifesting of late due to 177 Huron Street doing some, um, “housecleaning”.
Alas, Mr. Ed: I knew him well.

P.S.: If any of my elected officials or the Department of Buildings are reading this, would you be so kind to check this out.
As you can see, this building— or more specifically its landlord (who is apparently overseeing this clean up)— has quite a few interesting complaints filed against him.
This property has had a standing Stop Work Order since 1991. If that piece of paper was a person it could buy beer for chrissakes. Perhaps it has? Because it is nowhere to be found.
