From The New York Shitty Inbox: Bright Lights?
A Manhattan Avenue resident writes August 4, 2012 at 2:21 a.m. (in an email entitled “UFO lights”):
Hi Heather!
I laid down to go to sleep tonight like usual. But as soon as my head hit the pillow my eyes met up with solar bright light coming into my window. They seem to be coming from the direction of Commercial St. Do you know WTF it is? Since I’m on the fifth floor, the light has to be pretty damn bright to annoy me.
If I had to hazard a guess I’d say this was a film/photo shoot (be it sanctioned or otherwise). While I generally eschew doing product placement on this site, these t-shirts gave me a chuckle. The stroke of genius (in my humble opinion) is the fact its creator saw fit to feature all three grades. “A” which indicates everything is pretty much in order; “B” which is still okay but not quite up to par with “A” and of course “C” (which methinks requires no explanation). This of course makes for a number of provocative gift-giving (and revenge ) possibilities for that special— or not-so-special— man in one’s life.
I inquired of the proprietor if he had underwear with these graphics on them. Alas, he did not. He said that from a design standpoint this was pretty much impossible.* Nonetheless, at $17.00 a pop these shirts are easy on the wallet— if not the recipient.
