A number of folks have asked me what is going to grace the above storefront (which, as you can see, was once a Polish Deli by the name of Beata). It will be a coffee shop and per its owner (a really nice lady named Clare) it should open in about three weeks. So there have you!

Spotted At Green Street & Manhattan Avenue: Fender Bender
Per witnesses the automobile on the left failed to stop at the stop sign on Green Street. Having lived on Green Street for no less than ten years I can attest that I have seen plenty of “accidents” such as this. We need either a stop light or some enforcement on this intersection. Seriously.

Mike & I smelled smoke and moments later there were lots of emergency vehicles at the corner of Clay & Manhattan. No one seemed to know what happened but someone was treated in an ambulance. And fireman were on top of the the three quarter house…
Yikes!
