Great Moments In Branding: Nassau Avenue
I wonder if “SHAM” is a subsidiary of Dewey, Cheatem and Howe?

My grandmother used to swear by Sham’s repair service, but she was part of the old Polish guard. Nothing like a good ol’ stereotype put into practical use!
I’m pleased to report that Sham is, in fact, not a sham! My family scoffed at the name but called the number from the back advertisement section of the Greenpoint Gazette when our air conditioner needed a new plug a few years back and were pleased with the service.
Is there any affiliation with A Sukker general contractors? Not sure if they are still around but I have seen there van before.
they used to be located in a small rundown garage on kingsland ave with a crude handmade sign that read only “sham repair”. the sign was still there for a couple years after they moved but its gone now.
