North Brooklyn: A WiFi Survey

To preface: I am a very fortunate person. I have by any account a good life. I have a roof over my head and a husband who loves me. So much so he purchased me a new “smartphone” recently. He knows me well enough to know NOT to tell me how to use it. Thus when I noted I was getting WiFi notifications he offered to help me dismantled that bit of “intelligence”. I refused. Because the WiFi networks hereabouts are so darned interesting.
Once I showed him this corker which hails from Banker Street and Meserole Avenue, he understood.
The Grey Catsby can be found in Greenpoint. But as a rule, male genitalia/innuendo seems to be quite popular.
I cannot tell a lie: these made me erupt into peals of adolescent laughter.
Whereas this one struck me as being wishful thinking. Let’s face facts…
The I.T. and Internet world are ostensibly a man’s one— and if Dagobah exists it probably inhabits some hitherto undiscovered nook or cranny of Greenpoint. If I had to hazard a guess, I’d say the Nassau Avenue stop of the Crosstown Local. It’s been rather “ripe” lately.
But last— and hardly least— something for all you uber-geeks out there…
From (where else) Greenpoint!
