I Have Been Waiting For This Moment
New Mexico sandwich “poco queso”: a sandwich so fucking good even our cat Bodhi cannot resist its allure.
Yes folks, the Franklin Corner Store has re-opened.

That looks amazing! What’s in it?
Bean Dip, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, green peppers and eggplant.
i can has noms.
oh dear god, I must get one of these! Better yet, I think I’ll make my own version of it using my griddler press! *drool*
sandwich party at bitch cakes’ house!
Ooh, it’s vegetarian and all with ingredients I love! I’ll be there tomorrow for sure.
Everything I eat is vegetarian (because I am one). I would recommend a bag of jalapeno-flavored potato chips as a chaser. If you’re going to pig out, go ALL OUT! đ
I got one of these tonight! I got home from work and felt too lazy to cook so I started rifling through my takeout menus when I recalled this post! Sadly, they were out of jalapeno chips so I bought wasabi peanuts as a chaser instead (though the beer and cheddar chips looked damn tempting). The sandwich was yummy and I grabbed a menu so I could partake much more frequently. Thanks for this heads up, I was getting burnt on the regular quick stops. đ
Glad you enjoyed the sandwich. The “El Mexicano” doesn’t suck either.
