Another Bar Cometh To Williamspoint

The aptly named Richardson will be located at 451 Graham Avenue, which is at the corner of (drum roll, please)… Richardson Street!

When I walked by last week I took a quick looksee and I have to say it appears that they are doing a very professional job overhauling the space. My only concern is can new bar flourish when there are already so many such establishments to be had in the area already— like the R Bar, which is located just across the BQE?

I have been in this neighborhood for a few years and the R Bar used to be my favorite local place, the beers were always cheap and always cold… not so much anymore. The prices have doubled, and the bartenders are aloof and NEVER buy back anything. So now I walk down to the Boulevard Tavern, where a bottle of Bud Light is still only $3. I will definitely give Richardson a shot though, since I would not be caught dead in Daddy’s without a hipster chaperone.

There is a new bar I believe its on Berry and North 3rd its been there for a short period of time its fashioned as a Bavarian theme, where they have different types of Bavarian beers and have a small menu if you are hungry. I would Definitely recommend this place. But lets be realistic there are so many bars in the neighborhood it might take you some time to find the right one for you. Good hunting and enjoy.
