Another Restaurant Cometh To Greenpoint

I have long wondered exactly what is going in this space at 14 Bedford Avenue (which is located just around the corner from Le Brique). Today I finally took a peek at the permits posted in the window.

I have not found any applications for a liquor license pending on Community Board 1’s agenda and there will be no meeting next month, so it looks like we will have to wait until fall to learn more!

At least if the food makes ’em sick, they can go to the clinic across the street! 😀

I believe it’s going to be a cafe. Regardless of the comestibles, the owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. When someone knocked my motorcycle over on Lorimer (twice in one month) and left it on its side, they picked up up and informed me of the damage before I even had a chance to flip the f**k out, somewhat assuaging my ire. AND they fixed the broken throttle piece by hammering in some greased metal pipe and deftly applying duct tape to the remains of the throttle. Incredible. I made it to my session in Queens on time, too. I would only imagine that they could make an ace americano too!
