Greenpoint Gentrification Watch: The Piano Man

This missive has been the source of much speculation and bemused interest at Chez Shitty of late. A neighbor, a woman who has lived in my building for at least 15 years; inquired as to whether or not yours truly has taken up playing the piano. 2. this is even worse than my neighbors who complained they cant sleep because of my “subwoofer” (i have modest speakers and no sub), when watching a movie at a reasonable volume at 9pm on a friday night. seriously? you live in the city. in an apartment building. it’s a reasonable hour. get over it or buy earplugs.

  4. @threehz: Yes, we live in “the city”. This entails living in tight quarters which, in turn, makes it very important that we try to be considerate of our neighbors. Personally, I have heard no piano music. No one to my knowledge has. However, if I were working, say 2nd or 3rd shift I do not think I would like to hear this at 10:00 a.m. in the morning.

More than anything I am intrigued to find out who is responsible for this music!
