Found and reunited with owner. She came to Dog Habitat Rescue by way of a good samaritan earlier this week. She spent the night at the shelter and was reunited the following morning. Snow blew open the gate to the back yard and she wandered out.
Glad to hear it! Will amend my post accordingly.
Cheryl at Muddy Paws Pet Supply filled in some details today. Leah’s person was hanging lost fliers at the same lamppost the good samaritan was putting up found posters after arranging the boarding at Dog Habitat! Have to say when I first saw these fliers I was worried… older dog, lost in a blizzard?!? Nice to learn Leah is safe and sound!
