  2. This one is a real sweety even though she looks annoyed most of the time. If she really didn’t have a use for humans, she wouldn’t hang out in front of the store all the time. I let her sniff me first and “ask permission” for scritchies. Fortunately, she knows who I am and enjoys some company while I wait for the 62/43.

  4. During this summer’s visit to Greenpoint I noted the appearance of a 7-11 almost next door to this beautiful kitteh’s establishment. Among other negatives about chain stores, I’m betting there’s a corporate policy against store cats.

  6. This sweetheart’s name is Mimi, and if you squat down she will almost always try to crawl onto your lap. A word of caution though, she leaves behind a substantial amount of dirt and hair.

  8. i have made Mimi’s acquaintance shortly after moving to Greenpoint. once she insisted on sitting in the crook of my arm and wrapping both front paws around my shoulder while peering at my choice of produce. she’s great and i try to stop by often to say hello.
