New York Shitty Day Ender: A Street Fair on Manhattan Avenue?

Although this is (obviously) a ways off I wanted to bring it to your attention anyway: any and all who would like to see a street fair this summer should head to 1018 Manhattan Avenue (AKA: The Greenpoint Grocery) and sign the petition. The proposed date for the “Greenpoint Hispanic Festival” is August 8, 2010 and the location will be Manhattan Avenue between Green and Dupont Street. I for one would love to see this happen. I agree, what wrong with a little fun lively street festival? The culture, music, and food is brilliant.
I no longer live in Greenpoint though and have moved to London!
