Greenpoint Commerce Watch: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Filed under: 11222, Greenpoint, Greenpoint Brooklyn, Greenpoint Magic
The game of musical storefronts grinds on at 821 Manhattan Avenue (or the place formerly known as Dixie). Anyone want to place bets how long Green Point Snack & Smoke Shop will be with us? A month? Longer?

I was meaning to write you about this. They literally only had that store there for about two weeks, new sign and all. I went in to try a smoothie, which was a silly experience, and I had to give the guy some business tips. That sign must of cost them a bit, though.
it’s the family that owns the god bless deli grocery. honestly i don’t think there’s a harder working family in greenpoint. but this business expansion seems to be misinformed.
it helps that it’s right across the street from the bus stop. so it’s easy to be informed 🙂
Is it me or are the “o”s in the “smoothies” sign reminiscent of the hemorrhoid signs? And I love the people at God Bless and hope they can make a go of something there.
I should have known you would beat me to this. I have a collection of photos from this ever changing storefront too.
Tell me what you're thinking...
