Recently on my walk home from the Greenpoint stop of the G, I noticed a pair of clogs. They appeared to be men’s but I wasn’t getting close enough to be certain. Anyway, as I walked down Manhattan Ave each night, I noticed them in a different location – First in front of a 99 cent store, then on top of a mailbox, finally by the garbage pail at the corner. I couldn’t believe with the amount of homeless men I see in that area, NONE of them took these clogs. But they are no longer around, so maybe one of them decided to throw fashion to the wind and snatched them up? I’ll never know…
