Well I am proud to announce that I have a definitive answer as to when Kestane Kebab will open: TOMORROW!

  6. We tried the dueling falafel place today, Mediterranean Schwarma, on Manhattan near GP. It was great, especially if you like eating causal food under a pair of 4′ tall crystal chandeliers.

  8. I too am a big fan of the chandeliers! Truth be told, this place isn’t bad at all. I really like their tabouli (they don’t go crazy with the bulgar wheat) but their falafel can be under-cooked on occasion. That said, for $4.00 I am not going to complain too much! Have yet to try their stuffed grape leaves. Looking forward to it!
