In keeping with this week’s Halloween theme, I have selected a very special tale from Greenpoint’s past to share today. It involves a seance gone very, very wrong. From the November 10, 1923 edition of the New York Times, I present to you a ghost story that could only happen in the Garden Spot.

  2. Ha! That’s awesome. I wonder if that Dick Gallagher is related to the long line of Greenpoint Gallaghers who’ve been here forever. The Gallaghers have a rep for being… interesting.

  4. It may just be a Greenpoint thing. You wouldn’t believe the number of stories I have found that involve one human biting another.
