Could that mailbox at 263 be termed a cat ass trophy?
i have those magnets!
Bodmin: Back in 2002 I knew a woman on Dupont Street who was chewed out by our mail delivery woman because someone put “Powerpuff Girls” stickers on their mailbox. Imagine Ruth Bader Ginsburg— similar in stature and likeness— but much ANGRIER— and you’ll get a general concept of what this Postal Service employee was like.
My acquaintance was read the riot act, e.g.; mailboxes are Federal property and so forth. Unfortunately she was not the person who had that mail box. Fortunately (for me) this same mail delivery person helped me nail my former slumlord. In fact, I scored a retroactive rent reduction for the entire (rent-stabilized) building after a lot of paperwork on my part (and harassment on the landlord’s part). Due to defective mailboxes— which she and I had discussed at length. 😉
