Greenpoint Gets A Little More Caffeinated
Although I did not have the time to check out this establishment yesterday (I was in a rush to get to the new and improved Cup Of Joe’s* to order a blueberry pie for the Mister) I wanted my fellow Greenpointers to know the space formerly occupied by Brooklynski has— at long last— a new tenant: Lucky Shot Espresso. I suspect I speak for many when I say this establishment (Cup of Joe’s and Boneshakers) are much needed additions to this seriously under-serviced section of Greenpoint.
If anyone reading this post has given Lucky Shot a shot and would like to share his/her experience please do so in the comments. I would love to hear what you have to say! Thanks.

i think i’ve eaten boneshakers at least 4 times a week since they opened. i actually get delivery more than i go there, but that’s just because my hours and their hours barely match up.
i’m totally checking out lucky shot tomorrow. that’s where i park my bike at night. that’s her in the picture! (my bike i mean).
Stopped by Lucky Shot today. Great coffee (), friendly barista, and close proximity to my apartment make it my favorite new addition to the neighborhood. The interior is simple and I can’t remember if there was any seating near the window, but perhaps another reader will know. The prices are also reasonable for a Brooklyn coffee shop, especially one that’s brewing some of the best beans out there.
they’re using stumptown coffee. i’ve been twice (yesterday and today). it was good. i think some color in there would be inviting. it’s really really bare. and they don’t seem to have drip coffee at all.
but yeah, the two lattes i got were really really good, and the folks were nice, so that’s what’s important. i wonder if i can access my wireless network from there.
there was seating, but i cna’t remember if there was any by the window. there’s a ledge for sure though. i’ve already been there as many times as i went into brooklynski!
District Dog welcomes the new addition. Enjoying having really good coffee close! Yes there is seating by the window. They will surely be adding some flair inside, these guys opened in under a month. Super friendly and great bean.
moved to the ‘other side’ of greenpoint not too long ago. this is definitely a welcome addition that i’ll be checking out soon. walked by the other day and chalk board on sidewalk said, ‘ida hipsters do domu!’, which in my unpolished polish means something like, ‘go home hipsters!’ was that supposed to be super-irony?
