I’m sure you’ve heard of the water tower buffing. Truly sad to see it go. It took many years of talking about it but I got an up close look last year. Feel free to post the attached photo…

I too am sad to see this nugget of Greenpoint glory go. Thanks for the memory, gothamruins. It means a lot. In closing I feel compelled to note I recently acquired this print showcasing the “Wondrous Water Towers of New York City”.
