Urban Fur: Bad Kitty!

I realize the above series of photographs might be a bit unclear, thus I will tender an explanation/description. Someone, upon spotting a discarded nicotine trans-dermal patch affixed to the sidewalk, decided to draw a cigarette smoking kitty. Don’t believe me? What else can I say other than offer that one man’s dead dictator is, perhaps, another man’s (woman’s?) Mr. Right!
Spotted At 817 Manhattan Avenue: Activity
This week we learned that Manhattan Avenue is to receive yet another cell phone provider: Verizon. Needless to say I was more than a little curious when I spied signs of life at Sprint’s former digs this afternoon. I struck up a conversation with the very nice man on the premises and as a result have some good news to relay. This space is slated to become something we can actually use: a hardware store! I did not get an ETA as far as when this establishment will open its doors. However, I did make it known to this gentleman that given such an establishment used to grace Sakura 6’s current home just this is addition to my community’s main drag would, in all likelihood, be quite welcome by my fellow Greenpointers.
