New York Shitty Slide Show du Jour: 57 Franklin Is Ready For Easter!
After essentially casing this property for two weeks I am very pleased to announce that the Easter eggstravaganza is in effect at 57 Franklin Street! Not wanting to delay the completion of one of yours truly’s favorite holiday displays in the Garden Spot, I kept my conversation with the woman responsible for this short and sweet. However, I did learn a couple of interesting facts which I would like to share:
- She considers doing this very therapeutic.
- She has amassed approximately 500 eggs for this display because “people tend to steal them”.
- She then conceded she couldn’t really blame these folks: if she was a passerby she’d be tempted to take them too!

P.S.: Oh yeah, as of 4:45 this afternoon the “Fuck Me” chair is still on Banker Street— although it appears to have moved up the block a little.

After I took the above photograph a couple of gentlemen voiced their amusement. I said:
You know, now that I have stepped on this all hell is probably breaking loose somewhere.
Then I proceeded to jump up and down on the button with total abandon. When I had finally had my fill something very Greenpoint happened: they followed suit!
