This one almost slipped through the cracks (hey, I’ve had a very busy week!). ALMOST. Tonight Yashar Gallery will be hosting an art opening right here in the Garden Spot until 9:00 p.m. Check it out!

Spotted On Norman Avenue: Cop Piece
I have noticed activity at the cool old storefront at 94 Norman Avenue of late. Today after work I decided to swing by again and see what’s up.
It would appear that starting tomorrow night St John’s Theatre will be hosting four consecutive weekends of “Cop Piece”: a series about “Cops and Coping” with live poetry readings from Edgar Oliver before every show. By all appearances this show appears to be free, however a $10 donation is recommended for beer and wine.

Those of you looking for an inexpensive way to while away the upcoming weekend(s)— or are simply curious as to what this space looks like (I certainly am) might want to give this a whirl. If you do, let me know what you think!
