From The New York Shitty Inbox: More About The Pulaski Bridge

Hi, I love your photos of the Pulaski you took yesterday. I am not sure if this is a permanent installation or “street art” or what.. but my friend described it as looking like tree poop. The photo was taken at 10:30am Tuesday morning.. and that wood was bolted into the ground.
I noticed this piece of public seating (or “tree poop”— take your pick) last night. I even took several photographs of it, but none of them came out. I for one like it— but have no idea who (or what) is behind it. Anyone out there have the 411? If so, please share via comments.
Thanks!

Williamsburg Photo Du Jour: For Sale By Owner
I find this (which hails from North 8 Street) fascinating. Granted, this item does have legs but I seriously doubt it is going to run away. In addition a bathtub is an awfully heavy and awkward item— so I doubt it could be stolen very easily. Then again, several years ago someone ran into the clock in front of the Garden. Not only did this person hit it with sufficient force to knock it over but he managed to take it without being detected (a truly amazing feat if you ask me). Maybe the theft prevention measure is merited after all?

Williamsburg Video Du Jour: A Slice of L Train Life
I cannot honestly profess to like the music this gentleman is playing (too space-agey), but the instrument (which I would presume he himself designed and built) is pretty darned neat. It’s a work of art in and of its own right!

Bushwick Photos Du Jour: Die Lair
Filed under: 11206, 11231, Bushwick, Bushwick Brooklyn, East Williamsburg, East Williamsburg Brooklyn
In a day and age when any hastily assembled pile of crap is described as “luxury” and given a ridiculously pompous name this (which hails from Grattan Street) is a breath of fresh air. “Die Lair” is direct, to the point, delightfully bereft of pretense and (dare I say it) downright cheerful! If the opportunity presents itself do swing by and see “Die Lair” in person. The front door is festoooned with twinkling blue LCD lights!
