Spotted On Greenpoint Avenue: Urban Fauna

Although I have said it before, I’ll say it again: one of the things I truly love about living in Greenpoint (and new York City, for that matter) is you can walk down the same street a hundred times and still discover something new. Today I walked down Greenpoint Avenue. This I have done many times. Across the street from our local Waste Water Treatment Facility I spied a piece of wall which had undergone repair. The end result struck me as looking a lot like a deer*— so I went in for a closer look. I was not the only who noticed this because, as you can plainly see, this bit of urban fauna has been appointed with not only an eye but also legs! Love it!

*Or a dog— take your pick.
