Somehow I am reminded of the adage emblazoned on the Farley Post Office:

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these ~~couriers~~ Prison Bear from the swift completion of ~~their appointed rounds~~ vigilant watch over Greenpoint Avenue.

And of course two sets of bars do not hurt. In any case, he has an acquired a new and rather apropos companion in the manner of a penguin. Excellent.

This just goes to show it is always a matter of perspective. Weather which we humans may consider inclement is downright cozy if the person in question happens to consist of snow! Given recent events I am pleased to pass along some good news:

Imagic Studio will not be leaving Greenpoint. Rather, they will be relocating to 937 Manhattan Avenue and are slated reopen “MID – FEB”.

Speaking as someone who has relied on this family-run business for all manner and variety of large format printing (they do a smash-up job with nice prices to boot), I give this development two enthusiastic New York Shitty thumbs up.
