New York Shitty Day Ender: Mrs. Bloomberg
Hands off bitch, he’s mine!

Spotted On Second Avenue: Freedom
I have been wondering a lot about other avenues to get my writing “out there” lately. I mention this because this weekend on Second Avenue I stumbled upon a truly innovative— if downright ballsy— approach.
I encourage each and every one of you to check out the first page of this chap’s tome. It is very special. Here’s a sample:
I have a friend who is elderly and lives in Madison, Wi. He says he believes in life after death but doesn’t want to return to earth. He calls it a “dump”…

New York Shitty Day Ender: Change
It’s been a long time since I have featured what I like to call “urban artifacts” on New York Shitty. Well, you can thank the Mister for spying this bevy of goodness (which can be found outside the restaurant formerly known as Rhong Tiam). I like to call it the 2011 East Village Survival Kit!*
And it even comes with a little motivational material!

P.S.: This delightful missive can be found around the corner.
*But is equally applicable in the Lower East Side, Williamsburg, East Williamsburg or Greenpoint. To name a few.

East Village Photo Du Jour: Love Me Three Times
My taking the above photograph did not go unnoticed by the staff at Papaya Dog. Not only did they find my interest in their window display amusing, but one chap suggested I pay $1.00 for every food item I captured with my camera. To wit I replied:
Actually, I was planning on posting this photo on my site. That constitutes advertising. If anyone owes anyone, you owe me!
This statement elicited a hearty round of laughter. This one’s for you, fellas!

This stylish (and judging by appearances very warm) get-up hails from (where else?) the East Village and was caught by WarmSleepy. Love it!!!
