This horrific story might hopefully remind some people how hard “illegals” work.
I got a peek inside this factory last May with my friend Sam. The workers could not have been nicer, despite the language gap. They even gave my friend Sam a free package of Tortillas after rightfully making fun of his bad Spanish.
My thoughts go out to the family and friends of Juan.

I’ve been a big fan of NYS for about a year and a half now but have never tried to submit anything, despite shooting regularly all over Brooklyn (I live near Myrtle Broadway on the Bushwick side). Anyway here’s a link to one I shot tonight around 2 am on Troutman Street (near Evergreen, facing North towards Central)… If you like this one I’d be more than happy to submit things more regularly.
I don’t know about you but I am very much looking forward to seeing more of Stephen’s stuff in the future!
