Jackson Heights Photos du Jour: A Little Sunshine On A Dreary Day

As some of you might recall I featured a photograph of this lass earlier this year. It was taken by none other than the immensely talented (and very nice) Steven R. Hazlett in Chelsea. So you can imagine my delight, dear readers, when I stumbled upon “Lady Gaga’s Grandmother” (also known as Oswaldo Gomez) herself today on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights! This guy’s a NY classic. I done think I’ve seen him out of Manhattan before.
Well, today I saw her in Jackson Heights. Really nice gal!
I shot Oswaldo last Friday at Citi Field for the Mets home opener, but didn’t get his name. Thanks for that:

We need to have her pay a visit to Sheepshead Bay. Things have been too gloomy lately. We need cheering up, and she just generates cheer, even in a photograph.

You all can “borrow” her after we do! Given how the last CB1 meeting went— and the shit storm which followed— methinks Oswaldo should attend the next one. As my special guest, of course.
