From The New York Shitty Inbox: The Chickens Have Come To Roost

A person we’ll call “N” writes:

Hey Miss Heather!  Long time no chat – how have you been?… Anyway, the reason I am writing is because I recently saw you quoted in The Brooklyn Paper regarding the tenant next to the chicken slaughterhouse who is supposedly moving because of the bad smell… I personally know this guy and he’s basically using this story to cover up for the fact that he’s behind on the rent and is getting evicted.  Not that you would necessarily care to listen to it, but he even has a podcast and talks about it on his show… This guy is basically an opportunist and liar and it really stymied me to see Brooklyn Paper even give this guy the time of day.  When I saw your name quoted in there, I thought I’d reach out and let you  in on what was really happening. It’s really great to see you are still so active with nyshitty!…

Why am I not the least bit surprised by this? In any case I have learned from another tipster that this chap has taken his stoop sale to Craigslist if any of you are interested in doing a little shopping.

  2. The reason, “N”, that I’m behind on the rent is that it has become a practical impossibility to find a roommate willing to live next door to a chicken slaughterhouse and I was unemployed for two months. Furthermore, as fully disclosed on my internet radio show (not a podcast), I freely admit that I am leveraging the situation to my advantage. Only an idiot would not.

I cordially invite you to discuss these and any other topics on my next show. Please contact me at andrew@andrewrodgers.net or just walk down the hall.

    Cheers,
    Andrew
