From The New York Shitty Inbox: The Rage Continues

Our streets may have been plowed and the manifold number of abandoned buses removed but problems posed by heavy snowfall persist. Onray writes:

It would seem to me that if this city wanted to generate a little revenue they would start issuing citations. In the meantime those who have problems should contact his/her City Councilman (in this case, Steve Levin: slevin (at) council (dot) nyc (dot) gov). Someone I know did just this. Not only did she receive a call from Mr. Levin himself but her street was cleared shortly thereafter.

  2. I think one of your commenters mentioned that they saw the owner of the abandoned Calyer vehicle clear it out themselves, but it is good that the local officials are so responsive. Notify NYC had also sent out a message a couple days ago to report all abandoned vehicles to 311 including locations and descriptions, so hopefully most of them are gone by this point (plus I also hope anyone who left their cars for 2-3 days were issued citations as that was ample time to go get them).

Tell me what you're thinking...
